Everyone who visits Paris either loves it or hates it. My Paris guide includes museums and attractions and nearby delicious places with French authentic food to try, so you get the most of your trip!
There so many places to visit and things to try that one trip to Paris is never enough. We visited Paris twice, once during summer and once during winter. It is hard to say which season is better as during winter there is no lines but during summer you can picnic outside.
Below are some ideas to plan a perfect day in Paris, best places to see Eiffel Tower, enjoy the food, and where to stay.
Day 1
One of my favorite places to visit is Musée de l'Orangerie.
Don`t miss the ground floor of the museum with many masterpieces by French painters. The centerpiece of this museum is Water Lillies by Claude Monet that displayed throughout the room. Take time to explore and merge into the depth of the art,

The museum will not take more that 2 hours, once you are fulfilled by the art take a walk-through Jardin des Tuileries towards Jardin du Palais Royal.
Traditional French cuisine, no reservation, If coming during busy hours, wait can be long. Bouillon is a French concept of cafe with affordable quality food that is served very quickly. One of my favorite places to eat while in Paris.

This cafe conveniently located by subway hub - Les Halles, which will take you literally anywhere in Paris.
If you enjoyed your day and ready to close with shopping head toward Les Marais, a nice neighborhood with many shops and outlets (stock stores). I couldn`t resist and of course enjoyed buying my favorite French brands (Zadig, Maje, Sandro, Jonak and etc) at discounted prices.
I recommend visiting le Louvre at least twice, the museum is huge and requires a lot of time. But if you plan to visit several museums during your stay in Paris - one day will do it! You will have something to come back to when next time in Paris.
Disclosure: Louvre is not my personal favorite, but my husband loves it!
Famous museum and must visit, better to come in earlier to avoid long lines.
The entrance is through the pyramid or through the ground floor.

While in Louvre stop by in Angelina Cafe - famous with beautiful views and signature dessert available only in Louvre.
Most likely after hours in the museum it will be time for food, just quick 10-15 minutes' walk will take you to la Jacobine - the most delicious onion soup we ever had!
I would suggest starting from top floor and make your way down. Start with collection on floor 5 as it has many masterpieces that require time to explore.

After relaxing in the park, take time to walk around and enjoy every moment. The next stop is food, as your French culinary adventure continues, head to try French fish and seafood.
Historic shopping mall with many clothes, shoes, home, accessories, souvenirs. Rooftop is open to public and has gorgeous views of Paris.
Tip: If plan to shop, bring passport with you for easy tax refund
Want to stay in the hotel with a view of the Eiffel Tower? Passy is a great boutique hotel to stay, closely located to the metro and Eiffel Tower. Breakfast was great!
Conveniently located in close proximity to Louvre, Notre-Dame and Le Marais. We had a nice balcony, with table and chairs, we leveraged it to enjoy the ambient of Paris while having wine and fromage.

"The best gift you can give yourself is travel " - I said it once to a colleague, and it motivated them to travel. So, I am saying it to everyone now and hope that my guides will help you to get the most out of it.
Travel does not have to be overcomplicated and expensive. Unforgeable experience is right in front of us. Exploring a new place can be a simple walk/tour to make you feel the city's spirit.
Over the last ten years, we visited many places, and a lot while on cruise. Cruise stops are typically short and less than a day, but it is still a lot to experience the new place fully.
