Restaurace U Pinkasů
@melaniemallory
Mel Says: Good traditional Czech food and beer, decent prices, and most importantly they have a gorgeous and unique beer garden behind the restaurant (open in nice weather), nestled into the walls of the 14th c. gothic church next door. You sit amongst the ruins of the rectory, Gothic architectural remnants all around you. In some of the stones you may even see long, narrow gouges where 15th c. warriors sharpened their swords in the Hussite Wars. This also is the first restaurant in Prague to serve pilsner beer on tap (you can even see the original tap on display downstairs near the bathroom.

Kantýna

Mel Says: Modern & industrial styled Czech canteen, behind the butcher shop at the front. Great high quality food. Be sure to keep track of the slip of paper where they write down all you consume, as you will have to pay a fee if you lose it.
