Dream Prague
"The first pub in Prague to serve the world-famous Pilnser! Picture it—it's 1843. Mr. Jakub Pinkas, a tailor for a Franciscan monastery, hears about a new beer being brewed in nearby Pilsen. He makes a deal with his friend who's got a delivery truck, Martin Salzmann, who brings him two pails of this new Pilsen beer on April 8, 1843. The rest is history. On a sunny day, ask to sit in the Gothic Garden—a delightfully peaceful and accommodating space in the center of the city. They've served old Bohemian specialties and popular Czech recipes since 1843! 🍗 Finely smoked, spicy sausage with mustard and horseradish 🍗 Old Bohemian beef in cream sauce with cranberries, dumplings variety 🍗 Baked quarter of duck with apples and marjoram, served with Bohemian dumplings variety and two color cabbage On tap: 🍺 Pilsner Urquell Vibe: 😎 Old School Czech inside 😎 Heavenly shaded outdoor Gothic garden seating adjacent to a church. Nearby: ➕ Wenceslas Square ➕ Old Town Square ➕ Astronomical Clock "

"Mel Says: Good traditional Czech food and beer, decent prices, and most importantly they have a gorgeous and unique beer garden behind the restaurant (open in nice weather),  nestled into the walls of the 14th c. gothic church next door. You sit amongst the ruins of the rectory, Gothic architectural remnants all around you. In some of the stones you may even see long, narrow gouges where 15th c. warriors sharpened their swords in the Hussite Wars. This also is the first restaurant in Prague to serve pilsner beer on tap (you can even see the original tap on display downstairs near the bathroom."
