Denver's beloved Major League Baseball team, the Colorado Rockies play home games in the heart of downtown Denver at Coors Field , which offers the nostalgic feel of a classic ballpark mixed with state-of-the-art technology. The season runs from April to September.
With an international roster, you know you are in for a great game watching the Colorado Rapids. This pro soccer team has been playing at the Dick's Sporting Goods Park since 2007. The season runs from March to October.
"Where the NFL's Denver Broncos call home. Here in Denver, being a Broncos fan isn't just a hobby - it's a way of life. The team has won three Super Bowls, including Super Bowl 50 with Peyton Manning as quarterback. On game days, you'll see the city awash in the team's trademark orange, blue and white colors. They play from September to January"

This tea room has a boastful selection of teas to choose from. Whether you're treating your little princesses or princes to a tea party or having a date with your friends, this is an elegant experience you don't want to miss.
Coffee Sarap has pop-up shops at different partnering establishments. Check their website for locations and hours. My favorite is the Ube Latte with non-dairy milk.
Escape the city in this vast park. Play fetch with your pup, walk the paths, watch birds, or enjoy a picnic in the grass. It's pretty close to the Botanical Gardens if you want to stop by both during your Denver trip.
With over 450 species of animals in their care, the Denver Zoo houses one of the largest Elephant habitats in North America. Learn about animals, and efforts in conservation, and dine at the zoo for a wild day.
Hike the trails, get tickets for a concert, or explore the magnificent red rocks. This amphitheater is a unique build with many Instagram-worthy spots. It's free to park and visit during times when there aren't events.

Check their website often for special limited-time exhibits and to learn more about their permanent exhibits. The museum has three dining options onsite including a cafe for the coffee lovers.
This is a great option for bad weather days. Get to know Denver's most loved aquatic creatures. Get up close and personal with a shark cage adventure, meet real-life mermaids, or dine at the aquarium's restaurant. Whatever you choose to do, it is a guaranteed full day of fun and adventure!
The market opens the Friday before Thanksgiving and runs until December 23 annually. (So it opens one week before Black Friday)
I enjoyed this market in 2023 with friends who live in Colorado. It was a joy to visit, especially as an avid Nutcracker collector. My only warning is that you get what you pay for regarding hot chocolate. Sometimes paying more does get you a better product.
While the hotel is trendy and located in an active location of Cherry Creek, guests should be aware of the minimal style of this hotel. This is a minimalist hotel providing a European-hostel spin on modern American hotels. They don't supply mini-fridges, microwaves, blow-dyers, etc. in their rooms. The bar is the check-in location and it's a great vibe for young adults. An additional perk of this hotel is the availability of pet-friendly rooms.
Amazing tea selection and tea snacks.
The 7 Chakra Tea™ had me at first sip. It's taste is subtle and calming. I bought a stock for myself and still drink it before bed to relax after a day of hustling. The location is stunning and the history behind its construction was astounding. I love to visit this tea house whenever I get a chance to visit Colorado.
Don't be surprised if I categorize this as a "happy hour: location. This shop includes a mini bar in the shop. The staff are friendly and open to answering questions. Seasonal slushies, honey ice cream, flights of honey mead, and other drinks are available to purchase.

This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through November. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas.

This quaint and hospitable town exudes charm and character, reminiscent of a less extravagant Vail. It’s a hidden gem that deserves a spot on your itinerary as you explore the beautiful cities of Colorado. Trust me, it’s a must-visit that adds a unique touch to your travels!
Known for its hot springs, this mountain town is popular among tourists and Colorado natives alike for its cozy winter atmosphere and close proximity to hikes in the summer.

This might just be my favorite destination in Colorado! Perhaps it’s my Scandinavian roots, but every time I visit—whether in spring, summer, winter, or autumn—it’s always a refreshing treat on my travels. The unique charm of each season enhances the experience, making it a destination I cherish time and again.
Request an outside fire rable under the notes of your reservation on Open table.
You have to order the tempura avocado and cucumber roll to start your meal and make sure to try their adult world famous hot chocolate!
Indulge in a full spa experience at Sonnenalp Spa, where you can enjoy massages and relaxation in the indoor and outdoor pools. Also, if they carry the brand Bathorium, definitely give their bath salts a try. The detox is my favorite souvenir from the trip!

This dog park allows our furry friends to be off-leash in a protected area. Let your pup run free or keep them on a leash if you prefer more control. Either way, it's a great way for you and your pup to get some excercise.
While technically this isn't in Castle Rock, it's close enough that I wanted to include it. With beautiful mountain trails, it's a great location for hikers just starting out or hikers with dogs.
Overnight guests are invited to Saturday art classes in the carriage house.
Tea is Tuesday- Sunday ans $38 per person
11 am to 3 pm
Tours look as though they are $12 each.
Try to arrive earlier during peak seasons because the main parking lot only has 200 spots. There is overflow parking but considering it's free this is a hot spot for tourists and locals to visit.
This is a climb to be taken very seriously. It's a lot of stairs and shouldn't be planned on a whim. Please make the necessary preparations before attempting to climb these stairs. Especially for travelers who aren't used to the elevation difference.
