Day 1/3 - Bukit Peninsula
We spent the first three days acclimatising and taking our first motorbike tour of the Bukit Peninsula between beaches, beautiful sunsets and warungs.
NOTE: 60-90 IDR / A day is ok for the rental of a scoopy (balinese motorcycle) :)
What to see:
Enjoy beaches, sunsets and surf.

Day 4 - Pajangan Rice Terrace
Using Grab we moved towards the centreof Bali, to the north of Ubud.
From our new home, we rented a scooter and got lost in the beautiful landscapes around the Tegalalang rice fields. Then we decided to explore also the northern aerea and we arrived to Lava to see the vulcan from the viewpoint.
What to see:
Rice terrace, jungle, the little villages in the north of Ubud

Day 5 - Ubud
From the peaceful rice paddies to the chaos of Ubud is a hard blow, but even here in the quiet of 7am we indulged in beautiful walks and yoga classes surrounded by nature.
What to see:
Little shops, long walk at the side of the city, yoga classes and all about art.
Where to eat:

Not so clean and a little bit expensive.
Day 5 - Bangli - Sideman - LavaÂ
A day on a scooter dedicated to making a big circle around Ubud, passing through Bangli, Sideman (beautiful) to Lava and then back to Ubud. Always with our scoopy.
What to see:
Get lost around Sideman and everything will be awsome.
Where to eat:
Day 6/7 - Surf in Canggu
Two days in the surfing capital to take some lessons and at the end enjoy the sunset in one of the thousands of beach warungs.
A quick stop to pick up a Billabong T-shirt and then off to the next stop.
What to see:
Sunset. Waves. Sunset with a Bintag!

Here is were we undestood that we don't like resorts.
Day 8/11 - Gili Air
Every travelling trip deserves a rest stop, and so it was for Gili Air. A little gem where you can see endless sunsets, eat on the beach, immerse yourself in the local culture and walk barefoot.
What to see:
Corals, Palms and Sunsets. And for the turtles, you don't need a guide, put some bread in the water and they will come :)

Day 11/13 - Balangan Beach
The last few days were dedicated to saying goodbye to the ocean, completely immersed in its rhythms, sounds and colours.
What to see:
Surfers, Waves, Sunsets. Enough!

Amazing: wild, minimal and managed by locals. I still dream about this.
