"Perched on top of a cliff about 70 meters above sea level, Uluwatu Temple is one of Bali's many most beautiful temples. For a long time, Uluwatu Temple was difficult to access and after a lightning strike set parts of it on fire , has been restored and can now be visited again. One of the most important and famous things not to be missed in Uluwatu Temple is the traditional Kecak dance which is scheduled at around 6pm every evening and tickets cost IDR 100,000 per person.
Close to the temple is the Uluwatu Monkey Forest, while Uluwatu Beach, below the temple cliff, is known to be one of the best surfing spots in Bali.
👣How to get there: one hour away from Kuta.
🎟️Ticket cost: 40000 IDR (2,40€)."

"Uluwatu Temple is a Hindu temple perched on a cliff top in southwestern Bali dating back to least a millennium.
The temple, situated 70 meters above the Indian Ocean, offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Beware of the monkeys on the way to the temple and be early during the sunset to be able to stand in front of the queue for the famous Kecak Dance.
Kecak Dance also known as the Bali fire dance or the Ramayana monkey chant, is a captivating performance held at the Uluwatu Temple in Bali."
