A part of our elemental nature means moving with Mother Nature. While living in a van without temperature control for heat, it was natural for us to move north - we found ourselves in Northern Michigan. Michigan was a dream weather-wise and we also found a sense of belonging with old friends, new friends, family, and ourselves. We love visiting & staying in North Carolina - in 2021 we found a place called Indigo Nature Retreat in Old Fort, North Carolina, and have been back many times since. I’m the fall of 2022, we are hosting a Retreat at Indigo & can’t wait to share some of our favorites with others. Situated off 1-40, Old Fort is a great place to rest for a bit - to have a coffee, chat with the locals, or catch a hike or quick bike ride.
