If my best friend would ask me "which island in Thailand should I visit?" I would definitely recommend Ko Tao with no doubt. Why? It has everything you need and it has vibes that you cannot find in the famous sisters islands: Koh Phangan & Koh Samui. It’s known for the best beaches in Thailand with crystal clear water and soft sand ideal for swimming & snorkelling. We lived there for a month ‘cause we really wanted to feel like a local and explore most of the places. When many people visit Santa Fe, they stay in the city and explore the many restaurants, galleries, and high-end stores in this rich cultural center. Don't get me wrong these are all lovely and definitely a must-see or a great weekend trip. However, I tend to venture down a road less traveled. If you are visiting Santa Fe, I definitely recommend a day or two on the high road to Taos. This is not the quickest route to Taos but is the most picturesque. It goes from Nambe, thru Chimayo to Taos, winding through several small towns and communities at the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Let me tell you, New Mexico is SO underrated. I took 6 months and traveled all over the state to experience as many hikes as possible. Who knew NM had beautiful pine trees, rivers, and yes, snowy peaks. If you're looking for moderate to hard hikes, between 3 to 12 miles, some with a decent amount of elevation gain (900' to 2000'), take a look at this board.
