Over several years living here, I must have camped at over 100 different locations in Oman! A camping trip around Oman is an incredible adventure, but knowing where to pitch your tent can be daunting in such dramatic landscapes. Oman has no formal campsites, and all camping is "wild" or "backcountry". I’m sharing all of my favourite hidden gems, and the places we go back to weekend after weekend! For each location I’ve included a couple of options to choose from, with information on ease of access and nearby facilities.
