As one of the Dodecanese islands, Kos has a rich historical heritage. Over the centuries, it has been ruled by various civilizations, including the Ancient Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Knights of St. John, and Ottomans. It has several medieval fortresses. Kos is home to several geothermal hot springs known for their therapeutic properties. And last but not least, Kos has a place that is renowned for its panoramic sunset views. 29 places including activities, beach recommendations, transportation hubs, 2 Islands, and a country. I personally think Vancouver Island in itself is the hidden gem of Canada, so if you're planning a trip to explore the beautiful Island, you're in for a treat! Born and raised here, I've travelled up and down the island many times to explore, hike, camp, chase waterfalls, eat, drink and be merry.
