I love Atlanta. Atlanta is my favorite city in the world. It was my first home as an adult, and a place that still holds an enormous grip on my heart. Going back to Atlanta for me is like a pilgrimage. Each time I go back, I have my go-to spots to relive my favorite days. The Botanical Gardens in Piedmont Park. My favorite vista on the Beltline. And a huge list of different restaurants. Over the years many of my favorite spots have closed (unfortunately). But that also has allowed me to visit and experience new places. And so, using my immense knowledge of my favorite city, I present my guide covering all of the essential eats in Atlanta. Unlike many of my other guides, I've gone further than listing the specific place and also listed the main food item at each place to get. However, all the food at these items are worth trying!

Philadelphia is my area of expertise! I have lived here my entire life and Fairmount is the neighborhood I currently live in. There is so much to see and do in Philadelphia that as I make guides I'm going to divide them up by neighborhood. Please enjoy my free guide to the absolutely gorgeous Hokkaido. We spent two weeks driving around Hokkaido, and have compiled a list of most excellent restaurants, cafes, scenic scenery, and hotels. TRAVEL TIPS: Fly from Tokyo (Haneda Airport) to New Chitose Airport (the closest airport to Sapporo, and third largest airport in Japan). It takes less than 2 hours, and since it is a local flight, you only have to arrive 1 hour before you fly out. I recommend this route over the Shinkansen (bullet train) which will take much longer and will cost more money. CAR RENTAL: A free shuttle bus from the airport took us to the car rental location. We drove to Sapporo and stayed for a few days before embarking on this excellent summer roadtrip. Please note, renting a car in Hokkaido in the wintertime takes an experienced and skilled snow driver, so if this isn't you, I recommend leaving the driving to the summertime. GUIDE INDEX: 1.
