A comprehensive guide to hosting a final fling in San Diego for the boujee bride.
I am a California native turned San Diego-based travel & lifestyle blogger. I'm super passionate about creating content that shows people how to make the most of life in America's Finest City.
As an avid lover of tidepools, brunch, and rooftop drinks, I created this guide for my fellow brides and bridesmaids. We all know that planning the bachelorette party is one of the hardest parts of the whole wedding - coordinating schedules, agreeing on where to eat - all of that! So I've made it as easy as can be with this one-stop shop for the boujee bride!
This guide is for the boujee bride who wants to feel pampered, fancy, and have ample opportunities to dress up. San Diego has you covered!
Highlights of this guide include:
💄 Making a custom lipstick shade
🦩 Giant gold flamingo fishbowl cocktails
👙 Hotel pool passes
⛵️ A private sailboat experience
It also includes options for accommodation, dining, activities, cocktails, wine/beer, & more!
San Diego county is over 4,000 square miles - there's lots of ground to cover & public transportation isn't great. This guide will help you centralize your home base, activities, food, and everything else!
When to do this trip: San Diego is beautiful any time of year. If the wedding timeline permits, I recommend trying to plan this trip during the "slow season" which is mid-January through March. Everything will be much more affordable and there won't be as many summer tourists in town.

Maui has a lot on offer for first timers. To me, Maui is more of a "resort" based island, is very family friendly, has some great, unique activities and it's own take on Hawaiian cuisine. Don't forget the banana bread! You could easily spend a week exploring.
I think of Maui from a geographical standpoint and there are 4 key areas to explore: Kaanapali in the north west, Kihei in the south west, Hana in the north east, and Kahului/Haleakala in the middle. The first two are more centralized with hotels/places to stay and the other 2 are easy day trips. 4-5 days is ideal for exploring Maui for the first time!
