Your free & paid guides for Denmark, all in one place.
A little bit more about myself:
I'm French and spent most of my life between France and the UK. I have always loved travelling and started visiting European capital cities during Uni. In 2019 I did a bus trip to Central and Northern Europe only taking night buses for a week (Lyon - Prague - Copenhagen - Berlin - Munich - Lyon) and fell in love with Copenhagen. I came back to Copenhagen 3 years later in 2022 to get married with my now husband so Copenhagen holds a very special place in our hearts.
Through these guides, I want to encourage you to explore Denmark's hidden gems & most beautiful locations.
TIP: If you wish to get a sense of where these locations are relative to Copenhagen, make sure to use the map feature!
I hope these guides will be useful and inspire you to explore more of the country.
COMING SOON:
➕Day Trips from Copenhagen
➕Getting Married in Copenhagen for foreigners
NB: This is not a PDF but an interactive guide which means that when you click on a place in the guide or map you can directly open directions on your phone's Google Maps app, call restaurants or book hotels.

Looking for a customized itinerary for your upcoming trip, but you don’t want to research yourself?
I can create an itinerary for you that would include recommendations on:
- Where to stay and eat
- What to see
- Transportation tips
It will be based on your preferences and budget. Check out example of a weekend in Vienna.
After you pay a deposit of €10, I will send you a form and questionnaire to fill. The itinerary will be published in a week on Thatch and available for your purchase. The cost of itinerary = €25 per day * number of days requested + deposit of €10.
I’ve been to more than 80 countries as a solo traveler and as a parent, I travel constantly for more than 15 years, exploring new places.
I am specializing in the following areas and can create cross country itineraries:
- Europe, including islands (UK, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Albania, Malta, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Switzerland, Turkey)
- Middle East (Jordan, Israel, Lebanon)
- Central Asia (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan)
- Africa (Morocco, South Africa, Seychelles)
- Asia (Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore)
- South America (Chili, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico)
- Central America (trip through multiple countries)

Walking 18,000 steps a day might sound like a lot, but it’s hardly noticeable when you're immersing in the sights and sounds of a beautiful city like Paris.
Imagine strolling past cafes, boulangeries, shops, grocery stores, children playing in parks, and people walking their dogs. You can grab a croissant and coffee, sit in the park or by the Seine River to rest for a while, and then continue your walk. That’s what this itinerary is all about—no rush, just being in Paris, walking, and exploring all the places that ordinary tourists on buses, the metro, or in Ubers won’t experience.
We're sharing our actual 6-day, 5-night thoughtfully paced Paris itinerary. I hope you find it helpful for planning your next trip!
It’s detailed and will guide you to famous sights and some off-the-beaten-track places, places to eat, and tips to make your trip to Paris unforgettable.

Rue de l'Abreuvoir
(4-minute walk from Place de Tertre)
Take a stroll down Rue de l'Abreuvoir, one of the most picturesque streets in Montmartre. Enjoy the charming architecture, lush greenery, and historic vibe. This street is also home to La Maison Rose, the famous café featured in "Emily in Paris.”

Fotoautomat, 53 Rue des Trois Frères
(7-minute walk from Halle Saint-Pierre)
Capture some fun and nostalgic memories at the vintage photo booth located at 53 Rue des Trois Frères. This old-fashioned Fotoautomat is a great way to take home a unique souvenir from your day in Montmartre.
Evening

After visiting Halle Saint-Pierre and the Fotoautomat, take some time to wander around the charming streets of Montmartre. Explore hidden alleyways, discover quaint shops, and enjoy the artistic atmosphere that Montmartre is known for. End your day with a lovely dinner at one of the many bistros or restaurants in Montmartre. After dinner, take an evening stroll to see Montmartre illuminated at night, a perfect way to conclude your day.
To make planning easier for you, we've saved all the places in this Google Maps list.
Tips
