New to the area? Sick of your regular spots? Fairfield County is Connecticut's gold coast and there's lots to explore.
I moved to Darien, Connecticut, when I was around six years old, and aside from a couple of years when we lived in Hong Kong - it's where I called home for the majority of my life! After five years in Chicago, my fiancé and I moved to Stamford in 2023, and honestly, really struggled to find our footing at first.
We were spoiled rotten when it came to our selection of high-quality, (relatively) low-cost restaurants in Chicago. After about a year of living in CT again, there are good spots - you just have to dig a little deeper to find them.
Look no further - here's my list of tried and true eateries. From upscale restaurants to delis - this guide has you covered! If I've missed anything or if you need recommendations on anything else - let me know!

The Chilí páramo is located at 3,800 meters above sea level between the departments of Quindío and Tolima. It is one of the smallest paramos found in the central mountain range, with an area of approximately 6,192 hectares. Its lands are rich in biodiversity and history, as they were inhabited by the indigenous tribe of the Pijaos. The tour through this páramo starts in Pijao, Quindio is of low-medium difficulty, which makes it very attractive for people to explore this wonderful ecosystem and be amazed with the panoramic views along the way between the mountains, if you are in Quindio do not miss this wonderful place.
In my guide you will find the following:
-Specification of the routes. 🥾
-Transport schedules (Bus). 🚐
-Lodging recommendations. 🏨
-Personal contact with guides of the region. (The tour must be done paying a tour, I give you the best option and best price)👤
-Costs and prices. 💱
-Details of the route, adding information of the ecological importance of the places to know and the indigenous history that has this paramo. 🗻
I will try to keep most of my guides free, but I would appreciate it if you could send me tips, share with more people or in your networks to support me. Thank you very much for your support.
Also, if you have any questions, you will have my direct contact so I can help you in any way possible.📲

This short guide focuses on only a fraction of the eastern half of South Philadelphia.
The neighborhoods:
- "East Passyunk" (pronounced PASH-unk by locals) is a residential neighborhood with a lively restaurant scene.
- "Italian Market" is the name of the old Italian neighborhood around 9th street, which still hosts a large outdoor market. Nowadays, the neighborhood is home to many Mexican and Vietnamese immigrants. This is reflected in the diverse cuisines!
- Queen Village and South Street. South street is the border between Center City (not "downtown), and South Philly. This area has an abundance of vintage stores and art galleries and street art. Notably you may see many glass mosaics on stores and homes by Isaiah Zagar, which culminates at the Magic Gardens.

Atlanta is full of flavors and fun. You'll find something for everyone at one of the local food halls, amazing urban greenspaces, and cute meetup spots. The abundance of activities and things to taste and see can be overwhelming so I've put together some suggestions from a variety of neighborhoods. You can't go wrong, but I recommend planning a day around an area depending on where you'll call home base during your visit to minimize trekking back and forth across town.
