Brunch
proper bagel
@marvogue
One of my all-time favorites! It almost feels like walking into an ice cream parlor, but it's artisan cream cheeses behind the glass instead of ice cream...

Try the chorizo tacos! I usually prefer corn tortillas but I think their flour tortillas here are better.

Biscuit Love

Visitors frequent this place more than locals, who aren't willing to stand in the line. But it's a classic Nashville experience! There are 3 locations: Hillsboro Village, The Gulch, and Downtown Franklin.

Vui's Kitchen
@marvogue
Off the beaten path for most visitors, Vui's is a real neighborhood spot. This place is perfect when the weather is nice to have an easy meal outside.

Barcelona Wine Bar
@marvogue
Great for a nicer meal out, Barcelona is tapas-style. Order a lot of small plates for the table and choose from an extensive wine list. Reservations recommended, or if it's just a couple people you may be able to snag a spot at the bar.

Butchertown Hall
@marvogue
Another nice Germantown restaurant but modestly priced. I'm not sure how to describe the menu except that it's GOOD...if you like meat.

Caffe Nonna
@marvogue
The cutest (and oldest) Italian restaurant in Nashville! This is a cozy spot with really friendly staff in the heart of the Sylvan Park neighborhood. Rumor has it, Guy Fieri gave the lasagna rave reviews 👀

Inside Bearded Iris (West Nashville location) is a "secret" ramen bar. First-come-first-serve seating.

If you're the kind of person who never knows what to order, this is the place for you. This intimate bar has no menus. Your server will ask you a few questions about your taste, and the bartender whips something up just for you.

Earlier in the day you can sit down for lunch or dinner, while later at night the bar gets lively. The bartenders here are excellent, so I would recommend ordering a cocktail.
