Corfu, still untouched by the clutches of mass tourism, is a haven of authentic Greek hospitality. The north-central part of this island is a treasure trove of contrasts—gyros kiosks sit comfortably next to upscale beach bars, all at prices that won’t break the bank. September is the sweet spot to visit; the blistering summer heat mellows, and a refreshing breeze caresses your legs while you sip on a kumquat cocktail.
Whether you crave the adventure of charter boat rides to untamed beaches or the plush comfort of beach clubs, Corfu has it all. And whatever you do, carve out time for Corfu Town. The experience of tasting local dishes and wandering through its narrow, stall-lined streets in the evening is simply unforgettable!
Here are some highlights from the places featured:
❋WHERE TO EAT&DRINK
-in this section you will find my selection of favorite restaurants in Corfu. From the best Gyros kiosks to elegant restaurants with crazy views and sunset aperitifs.
❋SEE&DO
-bored of the typical beach day? Corfu offers a wealth of alternatives that let you uncover the island's true essence. Picture this: you, at the helm of a boat (no license required), navigating to the island’s untouched, hidden beaches. It's the kind of unique adventure that turns a regular vacation into an unforgettable journey.
❋SLEEP
-a selection of the best hotels&apartments divided according to PRICE RANGE
❋❋❋ Each section and post contains my personal advice and travel impressions. ❋❋❋

Jordan isn't typically considered a destination for a long weekend. You can't explore its vast wonders in just a few days, right?
We faced this exact dilemma a few months ago and wanted to make the most of our time.
Here's our advice on seeing many of Jordan's incredible sights, including Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea, in just 72 hours.
We're not claiming you can see it all, but if three days is all you have, you can pack in some of the best experiences Jordan has to offer.

Capri's gorgeous coastline, amazing views, great shopping, and fantastic food means there's way more to do there than what you can squeeze into one day!
This guide is for the person who wants to luxuriate in everything Cpari has to offer, rather than fit it into one quick day. It has suggestions for how long to give the major areas and activities, as well as tweaks if you have 2 days or 3+ days.
In this guide, you’ll get:
- the major sights with notes on what you’re seeing and if they need advanced booking
- an interactive map to help navigate you to each spot
- the four major parts of the island and how to prioritize them
- explanation of transportation options on the island
- 4 restaurants and 1 gelato spot
- my favorite private boat company (for a reasonable price!)
- 2 shops for locally made products, including custom Capri sandals
- 3 beach clubs, 4 scenic overlooks, and 2 historic villas
- 3 hotels
- logistical sites you’ll need (ferry ticket counter, transportation pickup spots)

I never really planned to visit Cabo Verde until I ended up there during sailing trip. And I'm so glad I did because it's such an undiscovered gem! So much so that I came back a year later and spend a few weeks exploring the islands. In this guide I'll take you through the two northern islands as I found them the most interesting and beautiful. The focus of the trip is nature, hiking, diving, sun, music and culture. If you're thinking about visiting Cabo Verde take this as your sign, they will not disappoint. The recommendations in the guide are mostly toward budget travellers as that's how I usually travel. If you're hoping to get more luxurious holiday all you'll need to change is the accomodations. Otherwise this guide is suitable for all pockets.
