A phenomenal way to see one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. This is the trip my family of 4 (including 10 & 12 year old kids) took this past summer. The children had been to Europe before at 4 & 6 and the oldest had also been as a toddler. Both parents have been multiple times. We enjoy fast paced travel but generally prefer to go to smaller cities or towns. We trained between Zurich-Paris, Paris-Brussels, and Edinburgh-London. We flew from Brussels-London. We rented 4 different cars and drove everywhere else.

This spring i did a trip to Slovenia, on a budget without a car. I have decided to share my exact itinerary, as most guides in Slovenia include a road trip. This itinerary includes everything from arriving to Slovenia (by air or road), different accommodation options for each location, depending on your budget.
