Unlike the bustling energy of its larger neighbors, this string of charming villages offers a tranquil escape. Picture-perfect beaches painted with soft sand unfold beneath turquoise waters, while colorful houses line the coast, their facades bathed in the warm Italian sunshine. The Tigullio Gulf isn't just a haven for luxury yachts, but a region steeped in a rich heritage. There is so much to see and do in and around Venice, Italy that you could easily spend quite a few days here. This guide will detail MORE than enough things to do in 3-4 days in Venice and the surrounding islands. If you want MORE to do I've also spent time in the Prosecco Hills and the town of Treviso which are both about 45 minutes outside of Venice, feel free to reach out. I have also spent time in the nearby Dolomites so again, I am happy to consult with you about any of those areas as well! This guide will detail why you should visit Venice. -How to best arrive & exit Venice & how to get around while you are there. -Include multiple options for where to stay, all of which I have personally stayed in and can recommend. From luxury (our honeymoon hotel), to airbnb with an incredible water door onto the canal, to a more budget friendly hotel that also has a stunning canal view. There are options for everyone in Venice. -It will detail some amazing things to see, do, eat, and drink in Venice! -It will also detail how to take small day trips to neighboring islands of Burano, Murano, Torcello, and Mazzorbo. Why Venice? Venice is such a fantastic and romantic city.  Walking along or boating along the canals is an experience I truly believe you want to have in your lifetime.  Once you get the hang of it, it definitely feels like a "little big city".  You can walk to anything in Venice if you don't mind getting your steps in.  You can also get around by water bus, water taxi, and the famous gondolas.  You can eat SO well here and drink great wines at reasonable prices.  There are countless things to do and see here and the islands off of Venice are equally as exciting and beautiful!  This guide will detail tons of options for things to do in Venice.  Most of them I have done, I will add a few things I haven't done that I find would be truly worthwhile.  This way you can pick and choose what appeals best to you.  ***I am also available for consultation about your Venice trip and would love to talk to you and work with you to create your perfect experience! Egypt has an incredible amount of sites and experiences, but the excitement and joy of exploring the world’s oldest civilization and the greatest marvels created by man can sometimes be overshadowed by the burden it may have on the Environment. Environmentally friendly hotels in Egypt focus on minimizing their ecological footprint through practices such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and water conservation. These accommodations often incorporate sustainable design elements, support local communities, and offer green certifications that reflect their commitment to preserving the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region. By choosing such hotels, travelers can enjoy their stay with peace of mind, knowing they are contributing to responsible tourism and supporting efforts to protect Egypt’s unique environment. This is done through the "Green Star Hotel" Program, Egypt's Initiative for Sustainable Tourism Certification The Green Star Hotel (GSH) program is Egypt's national green certification and capacity-building initiative, overseen by the Egyptian Hotel Association (EHA) with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. This program provides hotels in Egypt with the opportunity to gain international recognition for enhancing their environmental practices and social standards while also lowering operational expenses. Participating hotels receive guidance from a team of certified national and international experts through a series of training sessions and informational support, culminating in field audits to verify adherence to program standards before awarding the GSH certification. GSHP directly supports the following goals of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth. Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is an eclectic city, an incredible mix of imperial palaces, sanctuaries, temples, but also cutting-edge neighborhoods full of huge skyscrapers and gigantic video. Many of Tokyo's neighborhoods are like small cities, each with a different character: for example Shibuya is the district of young people, Akihabara of manga and electronics, Asakusa with its ancient temples and Ginza of luxury. Often you just need to get on the metro and get off at the next stop to see something completely different. In this guide I don't just want to give you a list of things to see but I want to guide you to discover Tokyo through its neighborhoods. By following an itinerary that is too precise you risk seeing the main attractions so quickly that you pass from one neighborhood to another without savoring the magic of the neighborhood itself. As everyone often says: "You either love Tokyo or you hate it" and there are no truer words than these. Unfortunately, Tokyo is a huge metropolis and at first glance it could give you a headache or even stun you! The Amalfi Coast isn't a coastline, it's a masterpiece sculpted by nature itself. Imagine a place where dramatic cliffs plunge into the sapphire waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Villages cling precariously to these cliffs, their colorful houses cascading down like vibrant jewels. The salty caress of the sea breeze mingles with the intoxicating aroma of lemon groves, creating a perfume that lingers in the air. Unlike the serene flatlands, the Amalfi Coast pulsates with an energy as vibrant as its colorful past. History whispers from every cobbled street and ancient monument. Yet, there's a sense of tranquility too, a chance to simply relax on pristine beaches or explore hidden coves by boat. The Amalfi Coast isn't just for the privileged few; it's a place where luxury meets authenticity, and every corner unveils a new adventure. This guide includes: - introductory note - places to visit (photo spots, museums and cultural venues,, open squares, beaches and others) - restaurants, coffeeshops and sweets spots - photo spots Get to see more from my travels on my Instagram (@pedralexpereira) and Flickr (flickr.com/photos/pedralexpereira)
