Results for Marylebone
London is an incredible city with so much history to see within easy access of the Underground train system. After a slight learning curve (those gates close quick! If traveling with kids or baggagemake sure you use the wider family gate) the tube and bus system is extremely easy to navigate.
This guide includes 3 very full days of sightseeing followed by 3 days of Formula 1, but they could easily be spread out across a longer time period for a more relaxed trip.
This guide is especially for families that might be traveling to the British Grand Prix. London is a good jumping off point, although the daily commute from London is long, it is doable. If you will be doing the commute I recommend finding accommodations near Marylebone due to the nearly direct train to Bansbury where a shuttle takes you to the track.
And for anyone with food allergies, we found the restaurants to be exceedingly proficient about handling allergies. The ones we ate at are listed within.
This guide includes:
-3 hotel recommendations
-12 restaurant recommendations
-17 historical and local must see destinations

🌸 Primrose Hill is one of the prettiest neighborhoods in London. Situated in North London and easily accessible, it's a peaceful escape from the bustling city. It comes alive on the weekends when locals and visitors alike come to admire the gorgeous skyline view on a stroll through or picnic in the park. This guide contains some must-sees from the perspective of a local (hi!) for a great day exploring beautiful Primrose Hill.
Highlights include:
🏠 Strolling down colorful streets
🥐 Grabbing a pastry & coffee at a local cafe
🍻 Quaint pubs to laze the afternoon away
🏙️ A breathtaking view of the London skyline
To work Primrose Hill into your London trip itinerary, you'll need just a couple of hours (which of course depends on how long you spend at the park or in the pub!). I suggest combining Primrose Hill with a walk through Regent's Park towards Marylebone, a walk down the canal to Camden or head a bit further north to Hampstead.
If you're looking to stay in Primrose Hill, a boutique hotel just opened called Mason & Fifth.

Possible controversial opinion: London really doesn't rain as much as others think it does 😂 Grey and clouds are the go-to weather forecast, and this makes being outside and exploring the city by foot absolutely doable.
But when it does rain, exploring a museum or gallery is a great way to still capitalise on a day out. There are SO many all over London and most of them are FREE - an incredible offering that is pretty unique to this city. And there's not much more quintessentially local than to get cosy in a nearby pub afterwards 🤍
Check out this guide for a wide mix - from war museums to immersive art and photography exhibits!

London is full of amazing options that will undoubtedly add to your time and experience here. From bustling central, to the beautiful west side and cool and trendy east side, there are so many interesting places to stay depending on the kind of trip you want to have. These are the kind of places I'd stay if I were visiting London 🛎️
I've included a mix of...
✨ ACCOMMODATION TYPES: modern & Victorian boutiques, residential pub hotels, splurge-worthy gems
✨ LOCATIONS: in the hustle and bustle or quieter areas
✨ PRICE POINTS: moderate to splurge
And because London is so well connected thanks to a brilliant public transport system, each of the listed spots are either close to bus and tube lines - and/or are walking distance to amazing sites and scenes.
At the time of writing, all of these recommendations have at least a 4 out of 5 rating on Google and at least an 8 out of 10 rating on Booking.com. And that benchmark hasn't led me astray yet 😊
