Chinatown remains a hot tourist spot in London and there's a reason why. 1.5% of London's population are of Chinese ethnicity. Chinatown is always bustling with life and you will find most restaurant owners/staff of Chinese origin, making this a very authentic place to eat Chinese food. However, as it is limited to one main street, there have been many other amazing Chinese restaurants that have popped up.

Din Tai Fung Covent Garden

My all-time favourite xiao long bao restaurant, originally from Taiwan, has finally opened in London. It is definitely worth a try if you have not tried it in Asia / other countries. 

This restaurant originating in Taiwan has the best dumpling in London. The quality of their food is astounding and is worth every pound. Cannot miss their Xiao Long Baos and wontons.
