"Hike the tallest mountain on the British Isles! The hike starts at the Ben Nevis visitor centre which is just around the corner from the Glen Nevis hostel or 40 min walk from Fort William (check hostel tab to see the bus). From there the mountains path takes about 9 miles. The estimated time is 3-5 hours for ascent and 2-3 hours on the way down however that greatly varies between people and their fitness level.
Please keep in mind that's although easy and quite accessible it is still a big mountain hike. Make sure you have proper clothes, shoes and enough food and water. Check the weather before, can be very variable and unpredictable in Scotland. And be honest with yourself about your fitness level. Make sure that if you do the hike you can get up and down in one piece"

"After grabbing a coffee and pastry for the road, head to Ben Nevis to hike the highest mountain peek in the whole of the UK. You will need the proper shoes and clothes as the top is typically covered in snow."

"The highest peak in Scotland and some of the most stunning landscapes. Take the cable car, open year-round to the peak to observe the landscapes that are Glencoe. "
