"On the flip side of the cliff protecting the Diamond beach is another hidden gem called the Atuh beach. The beach is accessible via both sides of the cove but the highlight of the spot is the stony arch that you see in the picture. Stairs at the right side of the beach share the cliff with Diamond beach. But the stairs to the left provide a more impressive and direct view of the arch while descending down the stairs. Not only is the ocean rough, the waves crashing hard onto the shore, the coast itself is rocky! The rocks are easily visible during low tide and during high tide, the beach turns into a location straight out of paradise with golden‑white sand beach. The road leading upto Atuh beach is largely the same as the one leading up to Diamond beach laden with loose grovel, dust and pebbles. If you park your vehicle in the designated area around diamond beach, you will have to pay an entrance fee to the area. However, parking towards the far end of Atuh beach is free and provides better views. Also, please bear in mind that being located on the east of Penida, Atuh beach, just like Diamond beach, is just better at sunrise and not sunset. Contrary to this, the Kelingking beach, being on the west coast is better suited for late afternoons and evenings. "

"Atuh is located right next to the Diamond beach behind the cliff. Honestly, I preferred it over Diamond. I don´t know if it was because it was more peaceful and there weren´t that many tourists but I enjoyed it more. Plus we found a small puppy🐶 there and we had a great time playing with it. It was sooo cute. "
"Atuh Beach is such a gem! It’s tucked between cliffs, giving it that secluded, hidden paradise vibe. The water is crystal clear, and the sand is soft—perfect for a chill beach day. There’s a bit of a hike to get down, but once you’re there, it’s all about relaxing, swimming, and taking in those epic views!"
