"Sirmione is located on the southern tip of Lake Garda in northern Italy. It is a great alternative to visiting Lake Como, offering similar beauty and a range of outdoor activities (boating, hiking, etc.) while avoiding the crowds and high prices.
The town is renowned for its stunning medieval castle, Castello Scaligero, which is beautifully preserved and offers panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding countryside.
The area is also famous for its thermal springs, which have been celebrated since Roman times."
