Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

Spend some time exploring the impressive main hall, where a large bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek overlooks the city. The changing of the guard ceremony, held every hour, is a must-see attraction, offering a glimpse into military tradition and discipline. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and serene ponds, the memorial provides a peaceful and reflective atmosphere to continue your day.

A must-see place to visit when in Taipei! The building and surrounding areas are jaw-dropping! The museum offers visitors with an insight into Taiwanese history. Did I mention that it's free?
P.S.: There is a guard change that happens every hour that I recommend seeing.

Very iconic white building. Inside the building, there's a popular show every hour when the guards' shift is over and they march back to their station while the new guards will start working.

Pay homage to Taiwan’s history with this grand memorial, which features stunning architecture, peaceful gardens, and the changing of the guard ceremony.

Chiang-Kai Shek Memorial Hall is one of Taipei's most famous cultural landmarks, honoring one of Taiwan's former presidents (Chiang-Kai Shek). 

The architecture of this building is absolutely jaw-dropping. Photos do not do justice in displaying the grandeur of this place. 

Another spot to experience Taiwan's history and architecture. A nice area for walking and taking photos, too!

This memorial hall was built in memory of Chiang Kai-shek, the first president of the Republic of China.

Do some sight seeing here, and Explore the National Concert Hall and National Theater nearby.


11 AM - This memorial hall is stunning. It is a top attraction in Taipei!
