STAY: I can't recommend staying here enough. It's all inclusive, so the price of your room includes 3 delicious vegetarian meals as well as every yoga class and workshop that's scheduled during your stay. You can book a private cabin or the women's dorm or semi-private digital nomad space. They are rustic (you might even stay in a tree!) but that's part of the charm. Just be prepared for outdoor toilets and possible bugs. And lots of sweet cats!
EAT: Whether you're staying here or not, you're welcome to eat at the restaurant. The views while you eat are unbeatable, and the food is generally local, healthy, and veggie forward.
TO DO: This is undeniably one of the most famous and beloved places for events and yoga classes in San Marcos. Every day, they have at least 2 yoga classes of different styles, themes, and teachers. There's a sauna that's open to the public a couple days a week. They also host transformational breathwork sessions, sound healing, mindset workshops, ecstatic dance, cacao ceremonies, and more. Check out their website for a list of weekly events! "

"FREE COMMUNITY DAY on FRIDAY'S (3-8 PM for temezcal).
To arrive, you'll take a Tuk-Tuk to the top of the hill and then slightly hike in on over about a 5 min walk from the road. You can always walk up the hill but its a pain in the AZZ LOL.
Eagle's Nest stands as an awe-inspiring ecological resort and premier event venue, inviting adventure enthusiasts, artists, and digital nomads to embark on transformative journeys.
Within this haven, a vibrant community of global and local visionaries pursues their aspirations amidst the volcanoes overlooking Lake Atitlan.
The sanctuary is dedicated to kindling the inner artist within each guest, fostering profound connections among like-minded individuals, all while embracing a harmonious coexistence with the natural world.
With weekly events, temezcals and other wonderful things to participate in this is one of the most famous places on the lake you'll want to be at. "

"Eagle’s Nest is the most well known hostel in San Marcos La Laguna.
When I came inside, I was absolutely amazed by the design, the views, the vibes…
It is a great place to meet people, practice yoga, aerial yoga, etc. Actually, the platform where the yoga takes places has stunning views over the lake and volcanoes.
It was a very beautiful space to sit down and admire.
They also do a lot of groupal activites, ceremonies, etc.
*I just visited the place, I didn’t stay here. "
