"Founded by Don Bosco in 1865-68 to a design by Antonio Spezia, it was enlarged and enriched in 1935-38. The facade is in neo-Palladian style and on the dome there is the statue of the Madonna, the work of Camillo Boggio (1867).
The interior, with a single nave and richly decorated with polychrome marble, holds the remains of St. John Bosco and other saints of the Salesian family. The fresco in the dome, which represents the Glory of the Virgin, was made by Giuseppe Rollini. On the main altar there is a painting depicting Mary Help of Christians, by Tommaso Lorenzone (1868)."
