30 Days in Japan

One way to get souvenirs in Japan is to collect station stamps (eki stamps) or maybe temple/shrine stamps called "goshuin". But did you know that you can also collect tower stamps?

Osaka, Japan List 🏯🐙

Tsutenkaku

Tsutenkaku is a prominent landmark and observation tower located in the bustling district of Shinsekai in Osaka. Translated as "Tower Reaching Heaven," Tsutenkaku stands tall at 103 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Originally built in 1912, the tower has become an iconic symbol of Osaka. Visitors can ascend to the observation deck to enjoy sweeping vistas of the cityscape. Inside the tower, there are various shops, restaurants, and exhibits showcasing the history and culture of Osaka. Lit up beautifully at night, Tsutenkaku adds a touch of charm and nostalgia to the vibrant atmosphere of Shinsekai.

Shinsekai is an old neighborhood located next to the downtown area. It’s remained largely untouched over the years and is quite nostalgic. At the district’s center stands Tsutenkaku Tower, the symbol of Shinsekai. The area is nice to walk around and explore, but be sure to try kushikatsu while you’re here.

5 PM - After arriving at Osaka station, drop off luggage at the hotel. If you have time, you can check out the interior and/or the observation deck of Tsūtenkaku tower

The landmark is an icon when visiting Osaka. To be seen in every picture you make. To enter the observation deck there will be an admission fee of ¥900. 


this is a cool tower to see the view of osaka but i personally believe the UMEDA sky tower is more worth it :)
