"Do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch. Up to this point, you've probably been eating a lot of bread, soup, noodles, etc., so go ahead and treat yourself to more bread and soup. While Friðheimar has a larger menu, the most popular item at this greenhouse restaurant is the unlimited bread and tomato soup. After you are seated, you can visit the self-service soup and bread station to get a bowl of tomato soup (made from the tomatoes grown in the greenhouse) and homemade bread. This place is DELICIOUS. To compliment your meal, you can also order a variety of tomato-based drinks, such as tomato beer, a bloody mary, a healthy mary, and more. It's recommended that you get a reservation for this place, though you can more than likely get a table without a reservation after a 30-60 min wait.
Cost: $22 per person for unlimited tomato soup and bread (after tax) + drinks with
Parking: The restaurant has parking right outside. Once you reach the first parking lot, keep driving until you reach the end of the short road and the second parking lot. If it's full, you can always go back to the first lot."

"The Tomato Farm was a stop on our guided tour and I was pleasantly surprised by how understanding they were. I got the Icelandic burrata and heirloom tomatoes and they were probably the best tomatoes I've ever eaten. They assured me that they used cleaned utensils and washed their hands.
The experience is really cool because you actually dine inside the greenhouse with all the plants. If you happen to be driving in this direction it could be a good place to stop for a bite."

"This restaurant is a huge greenhouse that grows tomatoes and cucumbers. Their growing methods are completely sustainable and eco-friendly. Their most popular dish is all you can eat tomato soup served with an assortment of homemade bread. They also are known for the alcoholic homemade "marys" drinks including, bloody mary, happy mary, mary poppins, virgin mary, and health mary.
Reservations: Absolutely must make a reservation here!"
