What people say

"Jardim do Morro is the most beautiful spot in Porto, which you shouldn't miss during your visit. The busiest time is around 5pm - 9pm when the sun goes down. You will get there by cable car or via the Luís Bridge. There are a lot of people doing picnics, taking photos or just chilling and enjoying the view of the river Douro. Also, you can listen to the live music from local artists almost every day. I recommend you to get there hour and a half before sunset to find the best spot for sitting because there are always so many people that you may wouldn´t find a place to sit. If you wanna make it even more pleasant, you can visit the restaurant Esplanada do Teleférico, which has the perfect terrace for watching the Douro river with the centre of Porto."

"Jardim do Morro, located in Vila Nova de Gaia, is a real hidden treasure with stunning views over Porto. Situated on top of a hill, the garden offers a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning scenery of the Douro River and the city of Porto. With its beautiful gardens, tree-lined paths and seating areas, it is a popular place for walks, picnics and contemplation. Furthermore, the Jardim do Morro's strategic location allows for a privileged view of the D. Luís Bridge and the Porto riverside, making it a must-see for visitors to the regio"

"Very popular spot to watch the sun go down over the Douro. You'll typically be entertained by a busker or two as well. ⭐️ Tip: Just past the entrance to the park you'll see the Jardim do Morro metro stop. If you're tired from walking, you can catch the Metro back over to Porto. Otherwise, just cross on the upper level of the bridge and it will spit you out at Sé Cathedral, then eventually Sao Bento station."
