What people say

""The Ancient city is a gorgeous temple complex with replicas of temples from all around Thailand located in Bangkok. 🎟️ Entrance fee The entrance fee is pretty expensive with 700 baht (€20) pp but we bought tickets through Klook and only paid €9 per person. This worked perfectly! #nospon 🚝 Transport We recommend taking the green bts line all the way down to Kheha and taking a special taxi from there as it’s convenient and cheap. The taxi is a kind of small pick up truck and is located right at the exit of Kheha station. For 10 baht pp (€0,27) they will take you to the entrance of the Ancient City. 🛺 Getting around the park The complex is huge so we highly recommend renting a golf cart. For us this was half of the fun! It’s 350 baht (€9,50) the first hour and 100 baht (€2,50) each hour after. Don’t forget to bring your (international) driver’s license! If you want to save money you can also rent a (electric) bike or go by foot."

"The Ancient City ist das größte Freilichtmuseum der Welt und wurde von dem thailändischen Geschäftsmann Lek Viriyaphan gegründet. Lek Viriyaphan, der auch für das Erawan-Museum in Bangkok und das Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya gestaltete, liebte es, ungewöhnliche Bauwerke zu erschaffen. In Mueang Boran findet man thailändische Kultur, Architektur und Kunst aus vielen Epochen der thailändischen Geschichte. 🐍🪬 -Tagesausflug - 40/60min vom BKK Flughafen entfernt -kein Dresscode 700 THB p.P. "A "miniature" ancient Bangkok with all the most important historical buildings in a smaller size showcased in an outdoor park. The place is packed with Instagrammable spots but is scorching year-round. So, bring a hat and a bottle of water!"
