"When you spend time in Portugal, you will quickly realize that one of the best treats is a Pastel De Nata. It is an egg custard tart pastry and it is absolutely delicious! The great thing about natas is that they are only about 1 euro and can be found almost everywhere. They are doling out natas all day, so it is a great place to just walk in and grab a few whenever you need a little treat during exploring. My advice is, do not walk past a nata in Portugal without buying one haha "

"The Pastéis de Nata (pictured left) at Fabrica were probably the most unique ones out of all the ones we tried in the city. While the filling is more custard than egg forward, the crust is more intentionally burnt than golden brown. This added a really pleasant smokey flavor to the pastry that really set it apart."
