I'm traveling to Copenhagen in May 2023. This is my list of 100+ destinations based on tens of hours of research from well-trusted sources that range from personal contacts to travel experts and publications. 

The list is categorized by place type, inclusive of restaurants, cafés, shops, museums, and playgrounds. While my research accounts for the fact that I'll have my 2-year-old daughter in tow, I don't exclude things because of that.

After my trip in May, I will update this based on my experience and highlights.

In the past decade, the Copenhagen food scene has really exploded. From the high-end food scene, to the cozy cafés selling the local BMO (scroll to find out what it is!) - you definitely won't leave this city hungry. But you'll probably be a little bit broke.

3-Day Itinerary: s foodie's weekend in Copenhagen

Are you visiting Copenhagen for the first time? If that's the case, this is the perfect guide for you, since it includes a big list of main attractions, food spots, viral spots and shops. 
You'll find details that I added on every place and more general info, which helped me as a first time tourist and could help you too. 

Also, if you'll happen to be in Copenhagen during warm months this is even better, since this guide includes also some places worth visiting when the weather is sunny and warm(er).

Pompette

Pompette was founded on the premise that people were paying too much for their natural wines in København. Unlike in many other wine bars in København, there’s a chance you won’t be too scared to ask for the check here.

Pompette has a large assortment of wines to choose from, ranging from orange wines (yes, that’s a thing!) to bubbles. Although the owners aim to keep the prices low and transparent, they still cater to different price ranges, so be sure to indicate your budget when picking out a nice bottle.

If you’re a little afraid to show your limited knowledge of wines, Vivant is another affordable wine bar that perhaps suits you better.

A buzzing natural wine bar in Nørrebro. Cute café seating on the sidewalk outside - and located right next to the popular Pompette Spicy Chicken/Tofu sandwich.

Known for natural wines, this place is good both for a small lunch, dinner or aperitivo. The interior is curated and welcoming!

Very cosy little wine bar, perfect for an afternoon wine and maybe some light snacks.
