"To get to Kolugljúfur Canyon you must drive on a gravel road for about 10-15 minutes, though it is well-maintained enough and easy to drive on. The site has a gravel parking lot as well right next to the canyon, from which you can cross the bridge that extends overhead or walk along the path to the waterfall, or further downstream. This is a beautiful, worthwhile stop!
Cost: Free
Parking: Free parking in the lot directly next to the waterfall/canyon "

"Kolugljúfur Canyon is a marvel with dramatic cliffs and a powerful waterfall, Kolufossar, plunging into the canyon below. The views are straight out of a fantasy novel, and the place is serene and untouched. Walk along the canyon's edge, exploring moss-covered rocks and lush greenery. The sound of rushing water and the stunning scenery will leave you speechless!"

"EN: Of course there is another canyon on this list! A hidden gem along the main road. Sculptured perfectly with a cluster of numerous small waterfalls.
DE: Natürlich gibt es noch eine weitere Schlucht auf dieser Liste! Ein verstecktes Juwel entlang der Hauptstraße. Perfekt geformt mit einer Ansammlung zahlreicher kleiner Wasserfälle."
