"Monumento Torre del Reloj is an iconic landmark and a must-see in Cartagena, located at the entrance to the walled city. While it’s a great spot for photos, the area around it is full of things to explore. You can wander through Plaza de los Coches, which has lots of local shops and street vendors, or check out Plaza de la Aduana, a historic square. The Museo del Oro is also nearby for anyone interested in learning more about the city’s rich history. Plus, you can take a walk along the historic city walls. As for horse drawn carriages I’d skip them— I don’t agree with how the animals are treated, so I recommend exploring on foot instead."
