Bogota Where We Stayed (Torre Acqua)
@jordanandemily
We stayed here for 10 days in Bogota.
It is a comfortable budget friendly accom. We were close enough to all amenities while still being in a 'quiet' area.
Room was clean and all you need.
Doors are electronic/coded lock which is great!
𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻: enter the lobby and the staff will request your passport for information. Then proceed to level 8 room 812 for hotel staff who will check you into your room and provide you wifi details ect.
𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: they only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper. However, it is cheap to buy single rolls from the supermarket if you need!

Santa Marta Where We Stayed (Communidad Hotel)
@jordanandemily
This place had a decent set up.
Rooftop pool is not as glamarous as it sounds but the AC rooms have epic airconditioning and the wifi is strong.
Unfortuntely another place with cold showers but for $34 a night is located as close to things as you need to be!
𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻: buzz the doorbell (it's the rainbow building!)

Barichara Where We Stayed (AirBnB)
@jordanandemily
It ended up costing us around $45 AUD per night for an apartment with a kitchen and large bathroom.
There was also a washing machine which we made good use of!
It's only about a 10 minute walk into the main square... but it is up hill

Cartagena Where We Stayed (SV HOSTAL BADILLO)
@jordanandemily
We stayed in the SV hostal Badillo when we were in Cartagena, it's an affordable place in an otherwise expensive city.
It's centrally located and has airconditioning.
note: there was some noise from the street (standard when located so centrally!)

Macheta Where We Stayed (Casa El Gaque)
@jordanandemily
If you want to get out of the city you NEED to consider this airbnb.
This is one of those stays we look back on dreamily and wish we spent more time here.
It's a short drive from the town of Macheta and absolutely stunning. Be sure to pack all the food you need for your time as there are no shops nearby.
We made a video about this stay because we loved it so much!

Palomino Where We Stayed (Casa Colibri)
@jordanandemily
This place is a nicely located and very affordable palomino option.
It's about a 15 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the main road where the buses drop off and pick up.
𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: The wifi is strong, the breakfast is free, the communal area is nice but most of the rooms have NO AIRCONDITIONING which doesn't sound like a big deal if you've been in other big Colombian cities, but on the caribbean coast. it's a necessesity, Make sure your room has it!

Guatape Where We Stayed (Boato Hotel)
@jordanandemily
The Boato hotel is super luxurious.
The road was closed when we arrived so we had to get there by taking a boat ride which was jaw dropping.
These suites overlook a lake and even have a spa bath o the balcony.
Everything can be delivered to your room and you have a feel of full luxury while you're there, HIGHLY recommend.

Guatape Where We Stayed (HOTEL VILLA GUATAPÉ)
@jordanandemily
This place has a great location and was super affordable.
We paid $17 a night for a private room with a private bathroom. it wasn't too noisy and the blinds blocked out most light.
Absolutely perfect place to stay if your going to be out climbing rocks and exploring all day anyway!
