"🌸 Hawa Mahal, completed in 1799, is a beautiful pink and yellow palace full of spectacular photo ops. 🪔 The most famous part of Hawa Mahal is actually its backside, which has numerous balconies of the women's chambers. These balconies were designed to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life and festivals celebrated in the street below without being seen. 🕊️ This architectural feature also allowed cool air to pass through, making the whole area more pleasant during summer's high temperatures. That's also how the palace got its name: Hawa Mahal — Palace of Breeze."
"Beautiful inside, but to get a good view of it go across the street and up the stairs. There’s a rooftop restaurant, The Tattoo Cafe & Lounge, with the perfect views of it. Great spot for a picture and some food. Built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1798, Hawa Mahal is a five-story extension in the form of a honeycomb. This unique building has 953 small windows, called jharokhas, decorated with intricate latticework. The entire palace represents the crown of the Hindu God, Lord Krishna."

"The Hawa Mahal is incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. However I would recommend if you are short on time to visit the Hawa Mahal only from the outside and not spend time and energy going inside as it is not as elaborate as other palaces on the inside ."
