"This beautiful restaurant is super close to the Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere. This is definitely somewhere to go if you want to avoid the crowds that flood Romes's center. The recipes here date back to the 18th century of the Romans. All of their pasta is homemade, and you can customize your dish as you please or you can pick from some of the classics. They also grow their own vegetables, and all of their recipes contain fresh organic ingredients.
This is a great experience to have in the famous Trastevere region of Rome. "

"Pasta e Vino prides themselves on preparing traditional Roman specialities the way they used to be and taste many years ago. Everything from homemade pasta to amatriciana sauce, which takes on average three hours to prepare, will make you wish you had a second stomach.
Please keep in mind that the portion sizes are generous and if you cannot finish something, ask your waiter to take it to go. "

"We ate here in Trastevere. It's a little pasta place where this little Italian lady was literally in the window making the pasta right in front of us."
