It had been on the bucket list of me and my best friend for ages and we finally booked the backpacking trip and explored the region going from city to city by public transportation. It was an unforgettable and beautiful adventure!

Do you know what we liked most ? All the smells on the roads and the friendliness of the Andalusians.

This itinerary, result of many hours of research, has been planned for a 10-day trip but can also be used partially or for a longer time. You can also simply take inspiration from it, use the places it contains or combine our insights with your own researches to create your perfect trip.

This is a great itinerary if you're coming to Andalusia for the first time and want to combine sightseeing, landscapes, nature, beautiful roads and culinary delights. It's more of an itinerary than an impersonal listing of must-see places and "best" addresses, although you'll find plenty to add to your own interests.
We did it on a Harley Davidson motorcycle, but it's suitable for all types of medium-sized vehicles.

Cet itinéraire, résultat de nombreuses heures de travail, a été construit et prévu pour un voyage de 10 jours mais il peut être allongé grâce aux options prévues ou être utilisé partiellement si vous souhaitez un séjour plus court. C'est un bel itinéraire si vous venez en Andalousie pour la première fois, qui combine à la fois beaux paysages, visites, nature, belles routes et plaisirs culinaires. Il s'agit plus d'un itinéraire que d'une liste impersonnelle d'endroits "à voir absolument sinon le séjour sera raté" ou de "meilleures" adresses toutes relatives, toutefois vous trouverez suffisamment dans ce guide pour préparer votre voyage.
Nous avons fait cet itinéraire en moto Harley Davidson mais il peut convenir à tous types de véhicule de taille moyenne.

If you want to visit the highlights of Andalusia in just one week and don't (but also if you do have a car), this guide is for you. 
I personally tried this itinerary using long-distance buses to move around. I was traveling solo so this is a good way to save up some money as well.

Albaicín

   After the Sacromonte, continue your day in the other historic neighborhood of Granada, the Albaicin district. This former Arab neighborhood is authentic and very charming, with lots of small shops. There are also many monuments to check out in the area: San Nicolas Church Dar-al-Horra Palace The Corral del Carbon The plaza Nueva The Santa Ana Church The puertas de la Murallas

It is the oldest area of the city and is super well preserved. However, it did not become just a tourist attraction as there are many locals still living and spending their time there. Of course, it is also full of viewing points of Alhambra so you can take many wonderful pictures from here.

Granada’s oldest Arab district and it sits on a hill across from the Alhambra. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an absolute must visit!
