What people say

Evelyn Kronberger
"We booked a 5 day sailing trip to Cartagena with bluesailing on the boat Wild Card. This includeds 3 days on the San Blas Island and then about 32-55h sailing straight to Cartagena (depends on the weather how long it takes). The islands are really beautiful and you should go there if you are travelling through Panama or Colombia. It is also possible to book 1-3 day trips from Panama City or to make the 5 day trip with a motorboat. The motorboat is much cheaper than the sailing and you see more islands. With the sailing you have more time on each island and also more time on the boat. We liked our sailing trip a lot but unluckely we couldn‘t sail because in raining season there is less wind and it is often not possible to sail. It took us 36 1/2 hour to drive just with the motor from the Islands to Cartagena and it was a little bit uncomfortable. Luckely no one got seasick but the big waves are not nice at all. "

"The San Blas Islands, located on the Caribbean coast of Panama, are a stunning archipelago renowned for their natural beauty and pristine waters. Home to the Indigenous Guna people, the islands offer a unique cultural experience along with breathtaking scenery. Visitors can relax on white sandy beaches, swim in turquoise waters, snorkel or dive among vibrant coral reefs, and explore the traditional Guna villages. The San Blas Islands provide a remote and idyllic escape, perfect for those seeking a tranquil and off-the-beaten-path Caribbean experience."

"A group of islands found near Panama is a day trip (or longer if you feel like staying on the islands!) away from Panama City. The islands belong to the Kuna's, and are a stunning destination for island hopping and seeing some really beautiful scenery. "
