COMO Maalifushi, The Maldives

"I stayed at COMO Maalifushi and it was an incredible experience. The villas were elegantly furnished and I loved the private pool in my villa. The marble bathrooms were spacious and had a large bathtub and rain-shower facilities. The Whale Shark Excursions were one of my favorite activities, as it was amazing to see these magnificent creatures up close. The COMO Shambhala Retreat was also a highlight of my stay, with its holistic health treatments and yoga classes. The resort's location in Thaa Atoll made it a great spot for snorkeling and diving, as it is known for its diverse species of fishes and sharks. The Madi Restaurant served delicious Maldivian and international cuisines, and I also enjoyed the traditional Japanese dishes at Tai Restaurant. The Thila Bar was a great place to unwind with a cocktail and enjoy the stunning views of the Indian Ocean. I also appreciated the unique nutritional concept of COMO Shambhala Cuisine, which incorporated organic ingredients rich in living enzymes, vitamins, and sea minerals while still delivering on flavor. The resort had dedicated Play by COMO rooms designed as an inspiring and social space for families. From January to April, fishing options to the north and south of COMO Maalifushi were also available. Overall, my stay at COMO Maalifushi was a luxurious and unforgettable experience."

"A truly luxury surf getaway. COMO is the first & only resort to open on the unspoilt Thaa Atoll, well regarded for its diving & surf breaks. The overwater villas, with views of white beach, tropical greenery & cobalt lagoon are sublime. A dedicated surf center at this resort offers surf excursions when conditions are good. A few breaks are a short boat trip from the resort. A full day trip allows for excellent surfing."
