Radisson Blu Resort Maldives
@akhtarkhan
As soon as I arrived at Radisson Blu Resort Maldives, I was impressed by the stunning location and the array of facilities available. The resort's fitness centre, shared lounge and restaurant, tennis court and bar all contributed to the luxurious experience. With 24-hour front desk service, airport transfers and free Wi-Fi throughout the property, I felt completely taken care of. I was delighted with my air-conditioned room, which included a desk, coffee machine, minibar, safety deposit box, flat-screen TV, terrace and private bathroom with a bidet. Some rooms even featured a kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave. The attention to detail was impressive, and I appreciated the complimentary kettle, bed linen and towels provided in every room. The breakfast options were extensive, with a choice of buffet, à la carte and continental selections served every day. For those travelling with children, the resort also offered a kids' club and playground, as well as billiards, table tennis and darts for entertainment. Overall, I highly recommend Radisson Blu Resort Maldives for its exceptional facilities and stunning location

Fairmont Maldives - Sirru Fen Fushi
@akhtarkhan
When I visited Fairmont Maldives, Sirru Fen Fushi, I was blown away by the luxury villas that each came with a private pool. The property is located on the Shaviyani Atoll in North Maldives and features 200m of infinity pools, along with safari-style tented villas nestled in the island's lush jungle. Inside the villas, the copper bathroom fittings and carved wood detailing on furniture give off a bohemian rustic chic vibe. I particularly loved the unique tented jungle villas that offer privacy and a glamping experience. The island interiors can also be experienced with BBQs, jungle cinema and more. Dining at Fairmont Maldives is a real treat, with an international all-day dining spot called Raha Market, an over-water Japanese restaurant named Kata, and the over-water fine dining destination, Azure. I enjoyed fresh seafood and fish-market displays of daily local catches complemented by fantastic wines and Champagnes at Azure. For a more laid-back atmosphere, the all-bamboo Onu Onu is perfect with its loungers and fire pits, and sunsets are best enjoyed with a sundowner at the Kata Rooftop Bar and lounge that overlooks the entire western side of the island. The Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Maldives has sea breeze passages designed to draw fresh sea air into the treatment rooms. A dedicated Olympic size spa bath is provided for spa guests for pre or post-treatment immersion.

Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences
@akhtarkhan
At Amilla Fushi Resort Villas & Residences, I found myself in an island paradise in Baa Atoll. I had a tough choice to make, with several island homes to choose from, each offering a unique experience. I settled for a villa that hovered over crystal clear waters, and I was not disappointed. The resort boasts an outdoor pool, perfect for lounging, and a spa and wellness centre, which was a definite highlight. What's more, I was thrilled to find free WiFi throughout the resort, making it easy to stay connected. The air-conditioned villa had a terrace, minibar, and a comfortable seating area, and I was pleased to find that it offered sea views. The private bathroom had a shower and a bath, ensuring a luxurious and relaxing experience. I couldn't get enough of the restaurant, which had a variety of options, including an izakaya-style Japanese restaurant that fused Latin flavors with signature dishes. The three bars were also a delight, serving craft cocktails, tinctures, and fine wines to tantalize my taste buds. The resort offers several activities, including fishing, diving, and snorkeling, making sure that there was never a dull moment. The tennis court was also a nice addition for those looking to get active. I found that the property was conveniently located, with a 30-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport, and a 15-minute flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport in Baa Atoll. I would highly recommend Amilla Fushi Resort Villas & Residences to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable island escape.

@akhtarkhan
As soon as I arrived at Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives, I knew that I was in for a truly luxurious experience. This secluded island resort, located just 25 minutes away from Male by air, offered me breathtaking views of the sea from my beachfront villa. The over-water accommodation was equally stunning, with clear turquoise waters as far as the eye could see. The modern villas at the resort were designed with the utmost comfort in mind. The large bathrooms were a personal favorite, with a rain shower, bathtub, and spa bath all available to choose from. The flat-screen TVs with satellite channels and Chinese TV channels, electric kettle, and high-speed Internet access all added to the luxurious feel of the villa. The dining options at Centara Grand Island were fantastic, with several restaurants offering Asian and Western meals that could be enjoyed al fresco. I particularly enjoyed the daily champagne breakfast at the Reef Restaurant. The resort also offered plenty of activities to keep me entertained, including a swimming pool, water sports, a kids club, and a spa. The staff were incredibly helpful and were able to assist me in Chinese, which was a nice touch.
