"Run by a chef and sommelier power couple. The interiors tell centuries of history. The dishes reflect the Tuscan tradition, but are skilfully reinterpreted in a modern key by Chef Mattia Putzulu: all served in a welcoming dining room, that is an excellent compromise between past and present whose large windows open onto the scenery of the beautiful hills surrounding Montepulciano. Don't sleep on the desserts, real works of art as inspired by Putzulu's teacher, famed pastry chef Iginio Massari. Sommelier Monica Ceregatti's greatest passion is creating liquid narratives of the territory through its most prestigious wineries, but also with an eye towards the French territory. Currently (2022) the cellar of L’altro Cantuccio has a total of about 180 labels. "
