Sóller

You can check the cute orange and yellow tram thought the town of Soller or stand nearby in the square to snap a picture as it passes. You can take a separate train from Palma to here if you don't have a car. In late May/early June there is an orange festival where you'll celebrate all things citrus! You can meet a bike tour through the mountains, begin a hike, or visit the Soller train station art gallery with Picasso ceramics & a Miro exhibition. 

Sóller is located in the west of Mallorca, surrounded by the Serra de Tramontana. It is famous for its citrus, olive and almond groves and especially the vintage train "Tren de Sóller" which connects Palma with Sóller and its small port.
It is well worth a visit and when planning take into consideration maybe coming on a Saturday when the weekly market is on.

Explore the beauty of this charming town, perfect for leisurely strolls. For an authentic experience, time your visit with the local market, where you can savor locally made empanadas and discover a myriad of other delightful items crafted by the community. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and flavors that make this town a must-visit gem.

You can find entire blogs dedicated to Soller - it is a mountain town with an impressive cathedral and winding cobblestone streets. We stayed here for two nights and that was plenty to see everything the town had to offer. Many restaurants & hotels if you end up spending time here

Such a cute town with so many restaurants and shops! It is so easy to spend hours here wandering the streets. You can take the tram down to the port & beach, it was 9 euros/person one-way.

Second village is Soller where the main activity is to visit the main square with the cathedral and wait for the historical train to pass by :)

Oranges, trams, and good vibes. Take the vintage tram, chill in the square, and maybe snag some local oranges. They're kind of a big deal.

Famous for its beautiful train - but also a very nice small town to visit and enjoy the restaurants.

Take the vintage train from Palma to this town, then the trolley down to the port for a day trip!
