"TOMA was the pioneer of specialty coffee in Madrid in 2011, and by now it has at its disposal not one, not two but three locations in the Spanish capital! This one in Malasana is my preferred one for the cozy and inviting atmosphere. This is a place many locals choose to go to with their lap tops to work or simply read a book along with some tasty coffee. They also sell beans in the shop and online. Café is pet friendly, food is tasty (not sure about the variety in vegetarian options though). Prices start at 1,5€"

"VERY popular spot with a few locations, but the only one I've been to is in Malasaña. The coffee beans are roasted by an exclusive specialty vendor and I trust that they are good quality, but to be honest the taste is a little acidic for me. However, it's a hip, safe, crowd-pleasing spot and I enjoy the food offerings a lot while most people around me do indeed enjoy the coffee. "
