"The National Museum of African American History and Culture is a must-visit destination in Washington, D.C. This museum showcases the history, culture, and contributions of African Americans in the United States. Visitors can explore a variety of exhibits, ranging from the Civil Rights Movement to the Black Lives Matter movement. The museum also features a variety of artifacts, including Harriet Tubman's shawl and Muhammad Ali's boxing gloves. The museum is incredibly popular and can get very crowded, so it is best to book tickets in advance. Admission is free, but timed entry passes are required. The museum is located near other popular tourist sites, such as the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. Visitors can easily spend a full day exploring this museum and the surrounding area."
"This is the only museum dedicated exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. About 3,500 items are currently on display. The lower levels of the museum move chronologically through the history of African American life in the United States. The top levels of the museum are dedicated to cultural life. A few things to note:  - Visitors often need to prebook their visit.  - The cafe here is one of the best on the National Mall - The line to see the Emmett Till exhibit can often wrap around the floor but is one of the most impactful parts of the museum - Unlike other Smithsonians it is hard to dash in and out of this museum. Make sure you dedicate enough time to see everything it has to offer. "

This stunning museum offers a profound journey through centuries of history, encompassing the harrowing realities of slavery, the enduring strength of the Civil Rights Movement, and the remarkable achievements of contemporary figures. Allocate ample time for your exploration, as each exhibit unfolds a crucial chapter of African American history, providing a comprehensive and thought-provoking experience."

Unless you booked a one way ticket (jealous!), you've only got a limited time to explore.
