Spreuer Bridge

This is the second wooden bridge in town. Built in 1408, the Spreuer Bridge has paintings inside created by Caspar Meglinger between 1625 and 1635. The paintings represent The Danse Macabre (Dance of Death).

Another pedestrian bridge from the 15th century, with restored paintings under the eaves. Gorgeous and a beautiful pair to the Chapel Bridge

The second and less famous wood covered bridge over Luzern. Equally as beautiful!
