I was born and raised in London, and one of the things I love the most about this city is the food scene. I spend the majority of my paycheques dining out with friends, my partner, family and even alone, with a mission to try as many different foods as I can. This guide includes all of my favourite places organised by cuisine, and is an ongoing project that I will continue to add to as I find more places! I have held firm for years - and still do - that East London has the best food and restaurants in the city! The dishes are inventive, the decor and atmosphere is always on point, and the value for money is quite a bit better compared to west and central London. I've lived in this part of the city for 3 years and I've been to these spots once or many times. I love them and hope you do too 😊 All arranged by cuisine 🍽️

A day out on foot exploring Shoreditch, from someone who has lived in East London for >5 years. Shoreditch is the new place to be in East London! It’s also known as the “Brooklyn of London”, where you can explore so many different aspects that make London so unique. From wall graffiti and vintage stores to the famous Brick Lane curries and lots of new (and good) restaurants popping up, Shoreditch is definitely the place to explore. I hope you enjoy this guide.
