What people say

James Blick
"Famous 19th century tavern that’s kept its wonderful old world character with gorgeous dark wood trim, a classic old zinc bartop and bullfighting memorabilia. I generally come here just for a vermouth at the bar. There is a white tablecloth restaurant out back, but classy old school restaurants aren’t really my bag, so I’ve never eaten there."
Samantha Cassidy
"This historic Spanish restaurant opened in 1827 and serves classic tapas, traditional meat and seafood dishes and there is a special of the day. There is vermouth on tap (which is big in Madrid). They do take reservations and I suggest making one and not missing out of the old and traditional Spanish relic. "
Valentina Vanegas
"Step into one of Madrid’s oldest taverns and savor traditional Spanish tapas in a historic setting. From croquetas to patatas bravas, Casa Alberto offers a true taste of Madrid's culinary heritage."
