I've designed this map to be used both for pre-scouting sights and recommended restaurants, and as a map to reference what's nearby as you walk around Munich. Shopping and Entertainment Venues. About: The capital of Bavaria. Munich is culturally different from the rest of Germany. A world-class city & cultural hub, Munich is widely known for beer halls & the annual Oktoberfest. Scattered throughout the city are numerous historic squares, museums, & greenspace.

This guide is for everyone who is searching for gluten-free places while traveling in Munich! As a celiac who grew up in Munich, I have tried a lot of different restaurants and made both bad and great experiences regarding the knowledge of the waiters and the gluten-free alternatives. There are many more restaurants and cafés in Munich where one can enjoy something gluten-free, but it is important to explain it to the waiters when you order. In this guide though, I only recommend places I am sure that have the experience and knowledge to avoid contamination.
