"Lühikese Jala väravatorn, which translates to Short Leg Gate Tower, is a historic tower located in Tallinn, Estonia. It's part of the medieval defensive walls that surround Tallinn's Old Town.
The tower was built between 1454 and 1456. During the Livonian War, it was damaged and subsequently shortened. In the 18th century, the two lowest floors were converted into living quarters. The upper part of the tower was restored to its presumed original design in the 1980s. Today, Lühikese Jala väravatorn is part of the Tallinn City Museum. While not accessible for climbing or exploring inside, it is still a fascinating piece of history to see as you walk along the upper portion of the Tallinn city wall."
